Who We Are…
ACT (Advanced Construction Testing) provides 3rd-party construction testing conducted per industry-approved quality control procedures. We designed our corporate policy to confirm impartiality and eliminate conflicts of interest.
We have been performing standard air / water barrier, fenestration, and water testing for over a decade. We have extensive experience testing on residential, commercial, educational, hospitals, and government /military projects and all building types.
When used in conjunction with proper design and construction observation, testing and verification can be invaluable. In addition to being required in construction specifications, it can help identify short-term and long-term fabrication or construction weaknesses, verify compliance with construction documents, and prevent premature system failures. Performance testing is key to preventing the risk of water intrusion and associated litigation in new construction.

Why ACT
ACT staff are testing experts, but they are also enclosure and diagnostic experts. This is ACT value added proposition. Not only can we establish the existing of water / air penetration, but our staff and formally – or informally – diagnosis issues and provide short term and long-term repair recommendations.
ACT can perform all standard testing and reporting services specified in construction. Most importantly, ACT has 2 FGIA-certified Fenestration Masters on staff with over 40 years of combined experience in the fenestration and glazing testing industry. This is in addition to our many other testing experts. Through our parent company, Allana Buick & Bers, we also have the diagnostic and remedial expertise of registered architects, licensed engineers, and a myriad of trade-level specialists.
